Dear brothers and sisters,  

Please pray for our needs for spiritual home. May our Lord guide us as we search for a more suitable and permanent place for our Church. 

During the week:  Please pray for our ministries, brothers and sisters in needs:  

  1. Pray for our Church ministries:
    • Pray for Thursday night Bible study at Church office (Joshua 1);
    • Pray for our Post-Evangelic-even meeting next Sunday after Worship (8/15).
    • Pray for Children ministries (pray that we bring up our children up in nurture of the Lord):
      • Pray for our devoted teachers and participants.
      • Pray for our Sunday School.
    • Pray for young couple cell group.
    • Pray for small groups Bible study
      • Friday night at Church office lead by Stephen and Elizabeth Mei.
  2. Pray for three families this week for their BLESS - Body, Labor, Emotion, Social and Spiritual:
    • Christine Young;
    • Mason and Grace Yu (Greg’s parents);
    • Gregory, Dorian, Jason and Janice Yu.
  3. We extend our deepest sympathy for Suzy Wong's family for the death of her mother on 8/4/2010 in China.  May our Lord's strength and love comfort them at this time of sorrow.
  4. Pray that God would open your family members' spiritual eyes to see His love, and their needs for His salvation. (Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved - you and your household - Act 16:37).
  5. Please continue praying for sister Helen Lo, Justin Chang (Sister Jian Hua Chang's son) and Feng Rui Xin (sister Feng Rui Hua's sister), they need our support as they continue to search for suitable jobs.  We also pray for many brothers and sisters who have recently lost their jobs and/or other financial difficulties.  May God give them strength and guide them forward.
  6. Pray for brothers and sisters in need of physical healing:
    • Pray for our new church friiend, Mr. Zhang (Cheng-Ke Zhang), he just went through major heart surgery to repair heart muscle tear on 8/9.  May God give him and his wife strength and faith during recovery.
    • Please continue to pray for Mrs. Yang (sister Norma Jen's mother) as she continues her Kidney Peritoneal Dialysis (腹膜透析).   
    • Pray for our Lin ma-ma, brother Arthur's mother, she is still suffering from knee joint pain, with limited mobility. 
    • Pray for Pastor Tang Yu Tze (唐佑之) for his health. He is going through kidney dialysis. 
    • Pray for sister Lina Chou as she recovers from tinnitus (ear ringing);
    • Pray for sister Julie Wang, recovering from shoulder surgery;
    • Pray for Mrs. Wei (Linda Wei's mother-in-law) recovering from stroke; 
    • Pray for Helen Shie's friend, Carol Lee- may God gives her peace and tranquility as she continues to battle cancer;
    • Pray for Yvonne Yao's mother,Chang Been Jen in China, she is diagnosed with severe osteoporosis.
    • Pray for Mr. Liu (our sister Sheree's brother) in China; he is recovering from oral facial surgery to remove cancer from his system. 
    • Pray for Mr. Cheng (our sister Xue Qin Jin's father) in Shanghai. He was released from hospital and is now recovering at home.
    • Please pray for Mrs. Lee, our sister Janie Lee's mother-in-law, recovering from spinal surgery;
    • Pray for sister Xiao Ling Xia's father for his recurring prostate cancer treatment. Also pray for sister Xiao Ling Xia, her mother and family.
    • Please continue to pray for brother Terence Li. his mental and physical condition is deteriorating at the convalescent home.  May our God's mercy and blessing be with him and his wife, Grace, at this difficult time;
    • Prayer for Mrs. Sher (sister Kathy Sher's mother in LA) for her recovery from irregular heart beat and mal-function of her heart pacemaker, please also prayer for Kathy;   
  7. Pray for brothers and sisters who are traveling. May our Lord guard them, guide them and bring them back to us safely.

Only five days before our Evangelical event!!!
Please pray for our coming Evangelical weekend (7/24 - 7/25) preparation and pray for guest speaker Pastor Yuan Zhi Ming (遠志明牧師).
This is a great opportunity to introduce our Lord to your friends and family.  Please pray for people you invited and/or would like to invite, may God prepare their bodies and spirits to embrace His words.

  3. Pray that God would open your family members' spiritual eyes to see His love, and their needs for His salvation. (Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved - you and your household - Act 16:37).

    • Pray for sister Suzy Wong's mother in China, she is in treatment for urinary bladder cancer.
    • Praise the Lord, Mrs. Yang (sister Norma Jen's mother) has recovered sufficiently from Peritonitis (腹膜炎) and is now able to go back to Kidney Peritoneal Dialysis (腹膜透析). Please continue praying for her as she is still suffering from weakness. Also pray for her worried children.
